Our Volunteer Groups
A Huge Thank You to all of our volunteers groups who help us keep S.M.I.L.E. beautiful!!
Morning Kiwanis
S.M.I.L.E. needed a little bit of help this last fall. A few of our evergreen trees died and needed to be removed. The Moring Kiwanis came out to cut down and removed the dead trees. After the old trees were gone, we replant them with new ones to add shade for our riders and beauty to the S.M.I.L.E. landscape.
Madison Knights of Columbus
The Madison Knights helped unload hay that was donated by a fellow knight.
St Johns Lutheran Church Youth Group
The St. Johns Youth Group came to help pull the weeds that inevitably grow with the flowers all around S.M.I.L.E.
Faith Builders First United Methodist
The Faith Builders came out to help update some of the ladescape around S.M.I.L.E. to keep things looking there best for all of our riders.
Chirst Lutheran Priscillas
The Priscilas come every spring to help make S.M.I.L.E. beautiful.
They plant flower (they donated) in wooden barrels around each arena,
frontencrance, and in the horse shoe shape bench (right picture above).
When the students start riding each year the flower and trees are
starting to bloom.
The Pioneers & Neihborhood 4-H Clubs
For the last several years these 2 4-H clubs (The Pioneers & Neihborhood) have donated their time to wash all of the fences at S.M.I.L.E. But, after all of the fences are clean the clubs face off in a huge water fight where fun is had by all.
The Young Achiever 4-H Club
The Young Achievers 4-H Club from Battle Creek, Ne helped S.M.I.L.E.
with some spring cleaning. They washed walls, scrubbed the floor, and
organized the inside of the tack shed.
A Wayne State College Sorority
Delta Pi Sorority from Wayne State College came for a visit. Delta Pi
clean and polish all of the tack in the S.M.I.L.E. tack shed.
